100,000,000 is a collection of people, photographs and messages from around the world.

What you can share

Yourself; an identifiable adult who has permitted public display; places, memories, hobbies and other subjects you have the right to share. An identifiable under-18 must not be an intentional or principal subject.

Sensitive personal information

Do not include sensitive personal information about yourself or another person, including medical information, religion, political beliefs, ethnicity, sexual orientation, trade-union membership, or criminal allegations or convictions. Questionable submissions may be referred for human review.

Information about other people

You need permission from every identifiable adult who is a deliberate subject. An identifiable under-18 must not be an intentional or principal subject, including in child portraits, family photos where a child is principal, school or children’s team photos, or your own child’s image. There is no parental-consent route. Incidental background people are assessed proportionately unless privacy, safety, rights or context creates a concern.

What you cannot share

• Nudity or sexually explicit content, including any sexualised content involving minors.
• Graphic or gratuitous violence, serious-harm promotion, hate speech, threats, harassment, intimidation, or excessively abusive or obscene content.
• Illegal or criminal content, fraud or deception, rights-infringing content, or malicious files/content intended to compromise the website.

This list is not exhaustive. Project Million may reject or remove unsuitable or harmful content under its moderation rules and Terms.

Rights in your photo and message

Submit only a photo whose copyright you own or are authorised to license. Appearing in it, receiving a copy or finding it online is not enough. Do not submit an image that mainly reproduces another professional photo, artwork, illustration, poster, digital artwork or protected image without permission. Write your own message or obtain authority to submit it; do not infringe copyright, unlawfully disclose third-party information, or make prohibited defamatory or criminal allegations.

Public sharing notice

Approved qualifying submissions are public and may be viewed, favourited, copied and shared. Use a public submission’s Report Content control for a copyright, photographed-person, unauthorised-portrait, privacy, impersonation or other rights complaint. Credible complaints may cause temporary restriction while investigated, followed by restoration or permanent removal.

Use Report Content for a specific public submission, or the Contact complaint route for photographed-person, copyright, privacy, impersonation, false-allegation or reputational-harm concerns. You do not need to choose a legal label; high-risk claims may be temporarily restricted and escalated for legal review.
